Hurricane Irene

Well, there has been a lot of rain and wind. The hurricane mostly is in North Carolina, but some trees have fallen in Virginia Beach. In Norfolk, there is a lot wind and constant raining. Some trees have fallen down in Norfolk. The maximum winds now is about 85 mph. I've been through Hurricanes before. The recent Hurricane that I can't forget is Hurricane Isabel from 2003. That was a bad storm, since I remember it now. I was 19 in about to be 20 years ago. Power was out for a week. There were long lines of people getting food and water. Over 1 million people lost power in the Hampton Roads region via Isabel. People want to compare Irene to Isabel. We are in the beginning of Irene. The power went out for almost 2 hours. It's back to normal now. The flooding and wind is the worst of the storm. Irene is different than Isabel. It was slightly less powerful than Isabel since Isabel damaged Hampton Roads for weeks on end. The worst part of the storm of Irene is also many trees falling down. The Nor'ester of 2009 was bad as well in SE Virginia.
