The 2013 State of the Union address made by President Barack Obama

The State of the Union address made by President Barack Obama was a combination of numerous truths and errors. It had legitimate words in it and it was mixed with the audacity of Empire not the audacity of hope. It was not change that you can believe. It was change that I don't want to believe on. He said that by the end of next year the war in Afghanistan will be over. It won't, because there will be a small counterinsurgency force in the nation of Afghanistan after most U.S. ground forces leave the nation by the end of 2014. He said that he wanted to assist Libya, Yemen, and Somalia including Mali. Tell that to victims of lynchings and drone attacks in those nations. His actions including the actions of Bush Jr. have grown the global war on terror. The corporate friendly free trade agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership are still in existence. The White House said that they want some freedom for the individuals living in the Middle East, but democratic rights are lacking in Bahrain, Qatar, and especially Saudi Arabia (these countries are Western allies indeed). Iran can't have nuclear weapons according to the White House (they just want sanctions in Iran that will harm the human standard of living of innocent human beings of Iran). The immoral targeting of American citizens via assassination is truly a troubling portion of President Barack Obama's foreign policy. This NATO agenda is a continuation after the Bush administration. It is easy to decipher that the Pentagon's agenda is to have western hegemony in the world in competition against Russia plus China. “Where necessary, through a range of capabilities, we will continue to take direct action against those terrorists who pose the gravest threat to Americans,” he declared. This is in reference to him supporting the drone program. The President said that wants to continue the killing with leaf of “transparency” and legality, pledging to “engage with Congress to ensure… our targeting, detention and prosecution of terrorists remains consistent with our laws and system of checks and balances…” He had to say something like that after a Justice Department white paper would issue some pseudo-legal justification for this war on terror reality (which is heavily unchecked by judicial or congressional oversight). We have a growing police state at home. I can't believe that he or brother Obama supported the imperialist French harming Mali in trying to maintain military juntas at the expense of the deaths of innocent Tuareg scapegoats. Now, he or Mr. Obama loves to use the middle class word. He rarely talks in public about the poor. He or President Barack Obama bragged that he already slashed $2.5 trillion from the deficit via mostly spending cuts. He has proposed more cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Republicans like Rand Paul and Paul Rubio want even more cuts to our social safety net via their response to the State of the Union made by the President. For the record, Nugent is wrong on many issues. He to Ted Nugent is much worst than Paul and Rubio put together. The President said that he wants more infrastructure funding as a means to grow the economy. He wants more manufacturing jobs in the USA. He hailed the return of manufacturing by Caterpillar, Ford, Intel and Apple to American shores, neglecting to mention that US corporate “in-shoring” was based on massive cuts in workers’ wages and benefits. He made a proposal to raise the minimum wage to 9 dollars an hour. This is a good thing since a higher minimum wage can assist families, but some want it to be higher as a means to comprehensively handle this issue. The Tea Party crowd is really sick to advocate folks working below the poverty line in America. As for universal pre-K, I have no issue with it as long as it is voluntary (and it is affordable without indoctrination, corruption, and so forth). We still have high unemployment in near Depression levels in some locations of the USA. Poverty, hunger, and homelessness are still high. Corporate profits and CEO pay check reach record heights, while workers' wages continue to be low. Two statistics provide a sense of the scale of social inequality in America. During Obama’s first term, 93 percent of all income gains went to the richest 1 percent of Americans, and over the period 2007-2010, US median net worth declined by 38.8 percent. Our social inequality ought to be really addressed in America. Wall Street interests continue to harm wages and working conditions in America. The solution is a radical national public program to handle poverty in this country. We have what is left of the social reforms of the 1930s and 1960s. Now, one of the most important sections of the speech deals with the gun rights issue. President Barack Obama believes in gun control. I believe that law abiding citizens should not have their gun rights restricted. Yet, I do agree with a comprehensive approach in handling this issue like addressing poverty, ending the Drug War, ending the prison industrial complex, ending gun trafficking, promote gun safety, and to have other common sense solutions. We deserve a vote, but not tyranny. We should have more peace. It is very hypocritical for some to lecture us on gun control when they advocate war mongering in the Middle East and the Motherland via drones, bombs, wars, and allying with terrorists as a means to fight in the war on terror. The state ought to have no monopoly of guns or ammunition at all. The GOP's responses were made by Rubio and Paul. They outlined the same old talking points of reactionaries. They ignore the fact that the government has created jobs and opportunities for thousands of years in the world. They ignore that economic fairness is superior to Austrian economics. They definitely ignore about how an alert and progressive citizenry can change the whole world. His speech talked about the environment and energy. So, the speech dealt with a combination of legitimate words (involving Fairness in Paycheck act, in support of the Voting Rights Act, and believing in equality) mixed with proclamations of Empire including quasi austerity rhetoric.

Christopher Dorner's story is a long story of tragedy. He defected from the LAPD and the LAPD did not want him alive after that. He or Dorner knew that he will die and he died. His story is complex. He was not Nat Turner since Nat Turner led a rebellion to attempt to free his fellow people from slavery. Dorner was one man whose vendetta led to the death of innocent human beings that had done him no personal harm (including one man of his own race. I will never kill an innocent man or innocent human being at all). Turner wanted to overthrow the evil slave system in the States, especially of my home state of Virginia. While Dorner, died in a mountain recreation area. His manifesto was about himself, the military, police brutality, and a lot of complex issues. He was an intelligent man, but he led himself in the wrong path of vengeance. Let God Almighty handle vengeance not us. We should just execute righteousness and justice instead. Dorner was once in love with the military industrial complex by being a proud reserve lieutenant in the imperial Navy and officer in the LAPD who wanted only to serve with personal honor as a man-at-arms. He was a disaffected soldier and he chose to claim to disagree with racial oppression via inappropriate actions. He was right that racial oppression is indeed wrong and a grave sickness. He was just wrong is using murder as a means to express his disaffection with the evil conditions of society. Ironically, the violent system of the military industrial complex that he temporarily allied was his major opponent before he died. Dorner was right that racism still exists in the majority minority police force in the LAPD. He was wrong in later using unjustified murder as a means to express his grievances about the imperfections found in society. Dorner died in a blaze of fire inside of a cabin. He was burned alive in this so called civilized society. Dorner was right in opposing the brutality and racism of much in the LAPD. Reports are coming in about his death. According to Brian Todd of CNN reporting on a statement from Chief Kirk Ellington of the U.S. Marshal Service, the suspect in the cabin that was torched by the cops in San Bernardino, attempted to exit the burning building via the back door and was “pushed” back inside. It was difficult to push a 270 pound ex-Marine. There are still many questions about this event. The authorities claimed to find Dorner's wallet in the charred body in the San Bernardino cabin, but his wallet with badge and photo ID had been found last week by a bus driver and turned into the cops who’s manhunt “command post” just happened to be right across the street from the cabin where Dorner had been staying. Even before the fire, some cops shot up a truck that wasn’t even the same color as Dorner’s with two little old Hispanic ladies in it instead of one VERY large black man? Well, turns out, that wasn’t the only truck shot up by the cops during all of this.

We know about the austerity agenda. This agenda is being advanced under the guise of defending “the middle class" but the establishment will not execute real radical solutions for the poor. Some in both parties want to slash social spending since they believe that this action is part of a balanced approach. Some Congressional Republicans even wanted more draconian cuts to domestic social programs since some of them love Mammon not the social betterment of the general welfare of society. Back room discussions about this issue continue between the White House and congressional leaders of both parties. We will see a sequester in March 1. This is when there is an $85 billion in across the board spending cuts will take effect. By March 27, there is the expiration of authorization for spending by all federal government departments. The sequester is a result of the 2011 Budget Control Act. This act was bipartisan deal among Obama and congressional Republicans. The March 27 cut off comes as a result of the expiration of another bipartisan agreement. The six month continuing resolution passed last October to avoid a shutdown of the federal government during the 2012 election campaign. If sequester occurs, budgets cuts will come against defense spending and domestic social programs as well. The military cuts will have a marginal effect in the vast Pentagon budget, but it will negatively affect many jobs in this country in a wrong fashion. The total Pentagon budget is bigger than the next 15 countries in the world. The domestic cuts from sequester spare Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Yet, it will be disastrous for other programs like Head Start education for pre-kindergarten children (with as many as 70,000 poor children). The cuts will be nearly 500 billion dollars in domestic spending over the next ten years. These cutbacks include an estimated 600,000 women and children losing food stamps. 100,000 formerly homeless human beings will lose their government financed housing. Federal support would be gone for 7,200 school employees who serve special needs children. Job safety and food safety inspectors would face unpaid furloughs. Federal loans to small businesses would be reduced by 500 million dollars. President Barack Obama is right to say that doing nothing on sequester will cause thousands of federal layoffs and have a huge blow to the middle class and the economy as well. On the other hand, he wants to have a grand bargain with the Republicans as a many to handle deficit reduction (which is a slick phrase of quasi austerity). This bargain will include cuts to Medicare and other things. Social Security could be cut too. The President wants deficit reduction measures as a means to handle sequester. He wants a mix of spending cuts and the closure of tax loopholes. He wants to have a pay raise for federal civilian workers of only one percent. According to the National Treasury Employees Union, federal workers have already accounted for $103 billion in deficit-reduction from the pay freeze and increased pension contributions. Since statutory pay guidelines call for at least a 1.8 percent pay raise, matching the level in equivalent non-government jobs, Obama’s 1.0 percent “raise” would take another $18 billion out of the pockets of federal workers. The White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer, in a blog post on the White House web site, decried the refusal of the Republicans to close “loopholes for millionaires and billionaires.” That is funny since it is reported that Obama will name his longtime financial backer Penny Pritzker, heiress to the billion-dollar Hyatt Hotel fortune, as his next secretary of commerce, and choose the CEO of REI sportswear, Sally Jewell, a former Mobil oil executive, for the post of secretary of the interior. The President doesn't want massive cuts to the military. Even outgoing Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta doesn't want a minor trim in Pentagon spending. Some Tea Party reactionaries want the sequester to go ahead since they want the gutting of federal domestic spending. Other Republicans want to fight sequester and many of them are linked to the military intelligence apparatus (including neo cons that loved the Iraq War like William Kristol, Robert Kagan, Paul Bremer and Elliott Abrams, as well as Robert Gates, defense secretary in both the Bush and Obama administrations, and former senators Joseph Lieberman, Jim Talent (a top Romney adviser) and Norm Coleman). Other Senate Democrats have shown a measure where they cut the Pentagon budget. The military cuts would be offset by equivalent deficit reduction through cuts in farm subsidies and implementation of the so-called Buffett Rule imposing a minimum tax rate on multi-millionaires. The future in uncertain, but we know that will continue to fight for liberty regardless.

Folks form Seattle and Charlottesville, Virginia rejected police drones. Many individuals are waking up all of the time. Tons of Americans don't want drones flying over their cities and towns. Many corporate lobbyists, politicians, bureaucrats from the DHS, county sheriffs, city police, and others have debates or discussed this issue. The President has used drone attacks in foreign lands. There has always been resistance to tyranny in this nation's history. In Seattle, citizen fought against the Seattle Department's plans to use surveillance drones. After the Public Safety, Civil Rights, and Technology Committee hearing, the program has been scrapped. This comes about the controversy relating to Obama's CIA Director Nominee named John O. Brennan. He is the pioneer of many U.S. military secret drone assassinations. President Barack Obama was elected by a liberal wave and his support of this man (who advocated anti-constitutional and anti-human rights policies) is highly troubling. The President himself signed the bill in early 2012 that caused about 30,000 drones in the domestic U.S. too be operated by the Department of Homeland Security and local police departments. Seattle was one such city scheduled for adoption of a junior "Skynet" beat program. It is no secret that there is a Washington D.C. based agenda that wants to have drone shown all over America. Seattle’s Police Department had obtained these two small drones through a federal grant. Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn said that he discussed the drone issue with Seattle Police Chief John Diaz. They agreed to end the unmanned aerial vehicle program. The reason is that they wanted to utilize their resources in improving the public safety and community building work in the city of Seattle. Previously, numerous public protesters have gathered in the October public meeting on the city’s new drone program. The police backtracked on that agenda completely. “The testimony opposing drones has been overwhelmingly clear that the 11 people who testified this afternoon, all of whom testified against the use of drones, was symbolic of the general reaction we are getting,” said Chairman Bruce Harrell. Compared to other direct actions, this was a relatively modest effort, which should encourage other citizen groups keeping the encroaching police state at bay – for now at least. Mia Jacobson who represents the citizen group StandUP explains, “If 11 voices can protect the people from flying government robots watching their every move – what can 20 voices do? What can your voice accomplish?” Charlottesville, VA rejected drones by issuing a two year moratorium on their use. A civil liberties group named The Rutherford Institute was involved in making this happen. FOX News reported that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security drones to enter Washington State airspace occasionally. They want them to patrol the Canadian border east of the Cascade Mountains. The two 10,000 pound Predator-B unmanned aircraft are based in North Dakota. Senator Diane Feinstein chaired Obama's CIA directorate confirmation hearings for drone lover John Brennan. Protesters came from protesters from Code Pink and other anti-war demonstrators who were able to gatecrash the DC venue. Brennan agrees with U.S. state sponsored murders by unmanned drones abroad by claiming that drone strikes are used only against targets planning to carry out attacks against America. This missed out the extrajudicial nature of the killings including about 100 dead children.

One of the most historical events in the world now is the resignation of Pop Benedict XVI. He will officially resign by February 28, 2013. This comes very near to the Easter season. He dealt with health issues for years and he is approaching 90 years old. He told of this situation in Latin during a meeting of Vatican cardinals on this Monday. Human beings were shocked by the news even I. Vatican observers and media figures were also taken by shock over the news of the Pope's resignation. Pope Benedict XVI is known to hold up a bent cross not a traditional crucifix. According to Cutting Edge Ministries and Roman Catholic author Piers Compton's book entitled, "The Broken Cross: Hidden Hand in the Vatican," a broken cross was used by the sorcerers of the Middle Ages filled with a distorted image of Christ. Benedict XVI's legacy as Pope is controversial. He is similar to John Paul II as being a moderate on foreign policy matters since the Vatican wants Jerusalem to be an international city (which has been criticized by many). That is why in the year of 2000, the Pope John Paul II and Yassir Arafat signed an agreement that tried to make Jerusalem to be an international city. The Vatican recognized Palestine as a state. On other political and social issues, Pope Benedict XVI is even more conservative than the late John Paul II was. It is easy to see that Roman Catholicism embraces many heresies and doctrines that run in contrast to the Scriptures. For example, the Catholics falsely believe that the Pope is the head of the earthly church when Jesus Christ is the true head of the Church. They believe in forbidding priests to marry by force when the NT never condoned that. Some of them falsely call Mary the Queen of Heaven, but Mary should be given true respect indeed. They call the Pope Holy Father when that title is reserved for God alone. No man should be called by that title at all. There is also no purgatory, nuns, and Popes in the Scriptures or early church history. These are man-made traditions created to advance spiritual deception. The titre comes from the Dagon fish false god too. Therefore, we can just repent of our sins, believe on the Lord, and live our lives righteously. We don't need superstitions and other forms of heresies at all. Now, deception is not just found in the leadership of the Roman Catholic Church. It is found in many other religious places as well. Many early Anglicans believed in the false divine right of Kings doctrine as a means to basically harm Pilgrims, Baptists, and other religious dissidents centuries ago. No monarch has divine power period. Human beings have the freedom to think and to be free in a legitimate fashion. The Windsors and others acted as being for the common people, but some of them were cypto-Catholics. PD Stuart's work called "Codeword Barbelon" and John Daniel's "Grand Design Exposed" exposed a lot of missing links in Jesuit intrigue. The deal is that the Jesuits wanted to suppress the influence of the Protestant Geneva Bible and the Reformers, so the Anglicans used their High Commission to dominate the UK. The High Commission Court was chopping the noses off of Puritans – among many other horrific, Satanic acts in the 17th century. Isn't it ironic that anti-Papal Christians suffered by those who claimed to be Anglicans. In America, we have the Society of Cincinnati which is made up of high level Freemasons and Presidents with influence in the course of American history. The Lord Jesus Christ is the head of his own Church without a vicar, without a substitute, and without a replacement. The new pope will arrive on the scene soon. St. Malachy is one man and we should not be fearful about the future. The Lord Jesus Christ is in the right hand of God the Father not in a monstrance at all. In the final analysis, what matters is how we treat our neighbors and how we follow the will of God filled with joy, peace, and strength.
